What Perfection Carpet Cleaners’ carpet-cleaning promise means
The Perfection Carpet Cleaners guarantee, in short. Perfection Carpet Cleaners makes two promises on every job. First, the price we quote is what you pay for the work we agree on. Second, if you are not happy with the cleaning, we come back. Owner Richard Mowbray has 35 years of cleaning experience, prepares the quote himself and is on every job, so the person you call about a problem is the person who cleaned your carpet.
What does “the price we quote is what you pay” mean?
It means the number you agree to before the visit is the number on the bill. We build the quote from the details of your home: how many rooms, the hallways and stairs, any area rugs, furniture you want cleaned and any pet accidents. Once we agree on that work, the price does not change when we walk in the door.
The price only changes if you ask us to add something, like another room or a chair. If that happens, we tell you the new price before we start the extra work, and you decide.
Here is how common carpet work is priced:
- One carpeted room, up to 400 square feet: $375
- Each hallway: $55
- Each staircase: $80
- Deodorizer: included with carpet cleaning

What happens if you are not happy with the cleaning?
Call us and tell us what you are seeing. Richard reviews your concern with you and comes back to address it. The owner who did the work handles the follow-through.
It helps to let us know soon after the visit, while the details are fresh. A photo of the area is useful too.
What can a carpet cleaning guarantee not promise?
No honest cleaner can promise every mark will disappear. Cleaning removes soil and treats stains, but some stains and existing damage can remain. Bleach spots, burns, fading and worn fibers are changes to the carpet itself, not dirt sitting on top of it.
That is why we look at problem areas before the work and tell you what to expect. If a spot may not come out fully, you hear that before you book, not after we leave.
What is included in a standard carpet cleaning?
- Hot-water extraction with truck-mounted equipment, or portable equipment for upper floors the hoses cannot reach
- Deodorizer
- Moving most furniture and putting it back (entertainment centers stay in place)
- Drying guidance for your rooms. Carpet typically dries in 4 to 6 hours.
What is priced separately?
Some jobs need more than standard cleaning, so they are listed on their own line in the quote:
- Pet odor treatment uses an enzyme treatment and extraction, and the reapplied treatment keeps working for up to 48 hours. It goes beyond the deodorizer included with carpet cleaning.
- Upholstery cleaning for couches, sectionals and chairs can be done in the same visit. The fabric and cushion count guide the price.
- Area rugs are cleaned on location at your home and quoted by size. There is no drop-off shop.
Because these items are in the quote from the start, they are covered by the same promise: the price we quote is what you pay.

Does the quote include everything?
It includes the work we agree on: the rooms, hallways, stairs, rugs, furniture and any pet treatment listed in the quote. Deodorizer is included with carpet cleaning.
What if the smell comes back after a pet accident?
Let us know. Pet urine often soaks below the surface, which is why pet odor treatment is a separate service from standard cleaning. We review what we find and come back to address it.
How do I pay?
You can pay by card using the payment link we send after the job is agreed.
