The results come from the method and from planning the job before the visit. Here is what happens on a standard carpet cleaning.
- 1. Look at the problem areasWe check traffic lanes, spots and any pet accidents, and tell you what may not come out before we start.
- 2. Hot-water extractionTruck-mounted equipment, or portable units for upper floors, rinses the carpet and pulls the dirty water back out. Deodorizer is included.
- 3. Put the room backWe move most furniture and put it back. Entertainment centers stay in place. Carpet typically dries in 4 to 6 hours.
Why can carpet look worse after a rental machine?
Home and rental machines often leave more water and cleaning solution in the carpet than they pull out. Leftover soap can feel sticky and attract new dirt, so a spot can seem to come back a few days later.
Professional hot-water extraction rinses the fibers and pulls the dirty water back out with strong suction.
